Why Twitter is important for your Business
As of May 2015, Twitter reported 302 million active users. Yea, you might not get to market your business to all 302 million users, but that just shows you that the world is on Social Media. The first point of contact for a sale has changed, people don’t go to the yellow pages or walk into a random storefront. The first point of contact is online. Most people will find out about a Business through a Google search, or through Yelp. Other people will hear about your Business, but they will still do a Google search on your Business. What will they find? You want them to find everything, you want to be positioned on social media and have a consistent brand. Keep your colors the same, keep your logo the same, but most of all, be yourself.
Twitter is one of the most important assets for your Business. Luckily for us, it’s FREE! So watch the video, take advantage of the content and start reaping the benefits. If you look at the other Businesses that are on Twitter, all of the major companies are on there. Think of your favorite business, go to twitter and search for them. You can even study the way they post to understand what is working for them. Then study your competitors tweets, see which ones are getting re-tweeted and liked the most. Do not steal their post, you can get in trouble for that, but know what’s working for their business, so you can implement similar styles in your tweets from your business page.
